Saturday, 24th February

Band Night-out, Bowling Centre, Inverurie

Many thanks to organisers, Sandy and Donna Hardie, as compensation for not having a Christmas function. We had a great meal and a few games on 2 of the bowling lanes.
Saturday 14 th April

Ghillies' Ball, Invercauld

We joined an impressive massed band to greet the guests at the Ball. Roland Stuart was in charge and we played a good few sets, finishing up with Invercauld House. We would have played better had we been told the list of tunes in advance. Plenty of liquid refreshment afterwards but a paucity of solid food. I hope that the catering for the guests didn't go amiss.
Sunday, 6th May

I&K Motors Open Day

Entertaining visitors in the afternoon.
Saturday, 26th May

Laura Murray's Wedding (and of course that of her spouse).

Venue - The Barn at Barra Castle. The surroundings were beautiful, the evening was bright and warm, so we played outside. The wedding party joined us to dance on the grass.
Saturday, 2nd June

Taste of Grampian, Thainstone, by Inverurie.

Public entertainment amongst the stalls and other entertainers outside the mart. More popular every year.
Saturday, 16th June

Meldrum Sports

Massed bands and individual band performances at one of the biggest Highland Games in the area. There used to be a competition, but now it's public entertainment only.
Sunday, 12th August

Keith Show.

Joining the massed bands to entertain the public. Parade from the NFU in Land Street to the Show Park. A few performances around the Park and finally back to Land Street.
Saturday, 18th August

Nairn Highland Games.

Join the massed bands at Nairn to play through the town and down to the arena. Then a few stints around the arena and back up into the main street of the town. We are always well looked after at Nairn.
Sunday, 11th November (100 years on)

Inverurie Royal British Legion Remembrance Sunday Parade.

Leading the RBL parade to and from the Remembrance Day services in church and at The War Memorial.
Sunday, 25th November

Inverurie Christmas Parade (formerly the St. Andrew's Day Parade).

We play as part of the parade of massed bands leading the youth group procession from the Royal British Legion to the Town Hall. Once there, we entertain the spectators with selections of tunes for about 20 minutes. The scope of this event has been growing over the years.
